I need help. Is there any other screen recorder I can use besides the one Im using. All the speed runs I watch have lag free recording, yet all of my videos are lag filled and the sound quality is ear rape. I also need a split timer, because the one Im using now is actually timed separate from filming the video, and I want a better one. Also, I use a Mac if you are wondering.

I personally use OBS Studio for recording, and LiveSplit for splits.
Unfortunately, the real determining factor of whether you have "lag free recording" or not is going to be your system, not the software (generally).

If you use a high-end PC, i should recommend OBS or XSplit and for low-end PC,i should recommend iSpring Free Cam or lower settings on OBS. If you're using a Mac, i should say Wirecast? And for split timer, i should recommend LiveSplit in PC and CocoaSplit for Mac. Thanks for asking this question.
