so this would be a cool categorie in my opinion but whats a jump? a jump is pressing space bar to jump not to climb etc. it has to be glitchless. and you can vault over thing/objects that were te rules. i dont know if jumpless is possible in glitchless. So i just call it:"minimum jumps"
With glitches the run would still be sub 8:15.00, you just wouldn't be able to do superman, stairs strat, or bhops. Without glitches it might be like 10 seconds longer max so it wouldn't be an interesting category
Glitchless insane would be like 5-10 seconds slower than normal insane optimally, no point in adding.
Any% Insane and No OoB Insane have different skips you need to do because of no checkpoints/S+Q which is why they have different categories
Cool idea but glitchless just makes it kinda dumb and like creamsock said, very boring. Though I will say that a minimum jumps Any% is a decent idea since it is a slightly different run though still similar to any%. The definition of jumps would need to be in the rules and the category in general would onlybe a thing if there is a decent amount of interest
What about some crazy category like Glitchless Insane 100% for some real hardcore players. I would definitely make a run on that
After discussing this a lot, me and the Mod Team decided that Buttbounces are now officially allowed in the Glitchless category!
Why the change?
- A buttbounce is only a visual effect, it behaves exactly like a regular jump.
- Buttbounces only save about **3-4 fram
