Depends on the game, but generally speaking as long as the video is watchable that's usually fine.
Don’t just assume an emulator is allowed for a game, always check the rules or ask the mods first. I also don’t think Bluestacks is the most accurate thing either, but I never looked at it that much.
Also for what it’s worth, this thread has nothing to do with running Android games on a phone, the OP is asking if they can record console gameplay on a TV with a phone camera for video proof.
You will need to check with the community boards for those games on what they accept as minimum requirements for such, generally if its watchable and meets the requirements set then there should be no issues, so just ask the mods of the board if there is no such listed minimum requirements or forms of acceptable standards listed.
As said in 2018, check with the rules of your game to be absolutely sure, but any sort of recording should be fine as long as it clearly captures your gameplay. I've verified runs where the VOD was a recording of a whole-ass TV screen, it's really no issue as long as the screen is free from glare and the usual matters of the video being continuous and game audio being present are met.
How are you supposed to submit a run on an android or a phone I am very confused and stressed out please help me😭
@GodsChild Search for screen recorder software that works on your device: this will be able to record your screen in the form of a video.
But how do I get it to post it won’t let me put it in and when I copy it don’t do anything I have the vid
