Yesterday my Raphnet adapter broke during a run (on emulator) from switching between my OEM controller and my Brawler64 for throws. (As an aside, I have contacted Raphnet about a refund b/c the adapter is only a few months old).
Because of this, I was looking into getting a Dual Raphnet N64 Adapter instead. However, before making the purchase, I wanted to see if anyone knows whether you can use both parts of adapters at the same time for single player, or can you only use one at a time? Specifically, I want to remove the requirement of switching out controllers mid run, both for convenience and to remove the possibility of another adapter breaking.
Any information about this would be helpful, especially because I'd want to pick up the adapter before they go out of stock again.
There is a plugin fork that allows you to seamlessly switch between controllers by pressing Z+L+R on the active controller (no need to touch the adapter). Last info box on this page of the EMU setup guide: https://wermi.neocities.org/emuguide/raphnetraw/
Thanks for the response. I had vaguely remembered reading somewhere months ago about a way to use both, and it was actually on that website. I should have thought to look there. I appreciate it!
