Although i still get 2:09 on the in-game timer on 3-2, the runs somehow take only 2:07 in real time. This is not just a clock difference, the hardcoded voice lines in the game also start earlier
This is because that abused Supcom2's game pace adjustments. As I stated before the game adjusts it game speed as needed for performance. Adjusting FPS likely helps it stay at higher pace. This exploit again shows why Real Time cannot be used for Supcom2 Speedruns. As for the "hardcoded" voice lines. The voice lines trigger as you units enter specific zones. Once you enter the "Choke Point" it triggers that Voice Over. Once you move into the "main middle objective area" it triggers the next VO. The reason they are quicker is because the game is running faster and your units gets into those zones faster. (Edited in: Also the Voice Overs that happen is sequence are spaced out using in-game time just like everything else. Only thing that doesn't speed up or down is the voice audio)
