My vote is for SM3DW. because I think that BF could be more than it has been and SM3DW everything for me is better(I just think that Bowser Fury could have been better but for me it did not exceed expectations and imposed on SM3DW). don't hate me for choosing SM3DW. It is my honest opinion.
I prefer Bowsers Fury because it's personally the game that got me into speedruning. It's my first speedgame which means a lot to me. I've tried speedrunning 3D World but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I do with Bowsers Fury. Both are amazing casually and speedrun wise but I still say Bowsers Fury.
3dw is better because it's longer, more fun, you can play with different characters. But the biggest reason why I said 3dw is because you can actually have fun speedrunning it, unlike bowser fury
I prefer Bowser's fury, because of its open world aesthetic similarly of Mario Odyssey.
SM3DW, I think Bowser's Fury is a bit too short and has a bit more flaws than 3D World
I like 3D World because nothing about Bowser's Fury was really that fun or memorable to me. I think BF has a good structure and environment but imo it pales in comparison to the amount of fun surprises that 3DW threw at me as I was playing.
