There is a glitch during the mission that will prevent you from moving into the sniper field section. In order to prevent it you need to let the soldier, that was shot on the stairs of building 2, to start his line as you walk out of the Hassan video room. You can still walk through him once he starts speaking but if you don't let him then you can not progress later on in the mission.

It didn't happen to me, I just run through him lol, pretty sure waiting in the WC like I do fixes that
I was wrong on the specifics, you just have to wait for soap to say "Are you good mate?" like you got in your run.
I FOUND OUT WHY IT'S STUPID Okay so you know the lady that picks up the gun? You have to go far enough behind her for Soap to say "Floor 2 clear" or something to that effect. This happens multiple times throughout the campaign
you dont have to go behind her. just walk into the room, shoot the guy, woman and laptop, and be standing halfway into the room. you also need to have the guy who got shot say all of his dialogue
