Hey! Been playing Destiny from the release and just recently found out that it was people speedrunning it. I want to get in to that, but I have some questions. First of, whats the best program to use for recording? And also, are glitches allowed? Things like wallbreach and that stuff? And also, if I wana run the mission "A Guardian Rising", do I have to do it with a new charchater, or can I use my main? And also, if I can use my main, can I choose any weapon/gear or is it ristricted? Sorry if some word are misspelled, im from Sweden, haha. Hope to bring some vids to the community!

First off I would like to say welcome to the speedrunning community. Glitches are allowed to be used, the guardian rises mission can't be redone after the first completion which is why people use a new character, good things to use for recording are twitch, game capture devices and the in-built DVR in consoles. Also to answer the guardian rises question, you can use your main and move gear around, such as a legendary sparrow or a better level one primary. The only thing that's off limits for guardian rises is you can't use spark of light.
