Bit of a random question, but I was thinking of speedrunning the 1st Ratchet & Clank, and I got the collection for my dad's old PS3. Since it is a collection with higher graphics, so do I need to get the original game in order to submit a time, or can I speedrun using the collection?
They are counted as the same game, the PS3 versions are more optimal for Ratchet 1, 3 and Deadlocked, plus some categories of Ratchet 2.
First of all for any future questions I'd recommend joining the discord since you'll get answers immediately (compared to forums).
Second, the PS3 version is actually faster than the original version (specifically the PAL PS3 digital version).
How is it going with the speedrunning blackbird64? I would highly recommend Deadlocked as a beginner game to speedrun.
