Does it matter if you win or the AI wins? The general rules say when a winner is selected.
Also does the timer start when you press the + button (switch) or when you get past the loading screen? similar situation when you end the timer do you end it on the results screen or the moment when the winner is selected?
Hey! As I'm not a moderator I can't answer this to the most truthful degree but by my understanding: a) The timer stops as soon as the winner is revealed, no matter whether it is you or the AI b) The timer starts when the + button is pressed, not when the loading screen ends. c) When the timer ends it is on the moment the winner is selected.
However, in relation to the second question, I think that the rules should be adjusted to start upon the loading screen ends as the times can be different between game versions.

Hi, as a moderator I'd like to say that the timer starts when you press the ''+'' button or your console's equivalent. Also, as seen in my former world record run, the AI is allowed to win as long as the game reaches its natural conclusion. Sorry for inactivity, I may set up a discord if this speedrun gains more traffic.
