How do you embed images?

You just post a direct link to an image. If it has .png or .jpg at the end, then it will be embeded. Example: https://www.speedrun.com/userasset/816yw53x/image?v=40901b3 (won't work, link does not end with .png or .jpg) https://image.shutterstock.com/image-photo/word-example-written-on-magnifying-260nw-1883859943.jpg (works, link has .jpg at the end)

I’m glad it helped you out, generally we recommend not bumping old threads when there’s nothing you have to add to it

Might be better to have it bumped, it explains better than the updated formatting guide does.

youd find out how to embed images by just posting an image link. i think the chances for the url to not end in a fileformat is low as people here mostly post their own pics

Nothing is really confusing about it, it's just that it doesn't explain too much or give an example, this thread gives an explanation and a example, and a wrong and right example. It's why it's better to have it bumped. That's just my opinion, though.

Hi there,

Thanks a bunch for the tip on image embeds! Your straightforward guidance on posting a direct link with .png or .jpg at the end made it a breeze. Now, my posts on Remini look even more stunning – appreciate the help!
