Is punch shots the fastest shots ?

Hello, i would like to ask for the opinion of the community : trying to emulate a technique from Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, i tend to always play punch shots, at least on the tee shots. But, i'm not sure after this is the best way to go fast, since the roll is longer. What do you think ?

at the very least, with a punch shot, you skip the lengthy full swing animations that happens if you do a regular full swing from the tee (or even from your second shot if it's a par 5 hole).

it's different from 2005 where you have the option to disable the lengthy full swing animations and gamebreakers altogether so doing a full swing from the teebox doesn't penalize you as much.

there's obviously holes where you don't want to do a punch shot from the teebox (from what i've played its usually par 3 holes) but that's where learning the courses comes in handy.

yeah, it seems that being able to skip animations and cutscenes as much as possible is paramount to a good time, so hopefully, punch shots can help that !
