Question since I only own the remake

In the remake you don't need the 150th egg for the atlas to say 117%, just the 5000 gems. The rules for this say that you need 20000 gems and 150 eggs. Is this true? Can someone do me a favor and check? That would be really appreciated, I searched for long and never had an answer. Seeing forward, thanks.

Hey, I just checked it out For the 117% categories, the idea is the same. From what I can see in vods, the runs are basically the same.

You need 15k gems to get into Super Bonus Round, and 20k to be able to fight the sorceress. Why this was written differently, I do not know. But it's not "fight the sorceress".

@waffle not really a response I was imagining from a mod for a legit question

Bruv, you didn't understand the question. The rules say to get the 150th egg too, but in the remake, the altals would say 117% even if you don't get the 150th egg. Is this in the original too?

It is in the original as well. However, the point of the category is to collect all percentage-altering collectibles (gems/eggs). It just so happens that the way the game rounds things, you do hit "117" but not actual full completion until you finish Sorceress 2 because of the bonus egg in Midnight Mountain. The name 117% is just used to imply full completion.
