NTSC 100% rules precision

So is NTSC 100% assumed to be without any wrong warps? I was glitching around boss rooms and realized that it would make for a cool route for 100%. I watched the WR and saw PDG didn't do any wrong warps. Are they banned? And if so, would a 100% category with wrong warps allowed be an interesting category for you guys? Slack and I discussed it for a bit and he said it would make for an interesting route, so I'm asking y'all's opinion. I might give the run a shot as a demo run if there's some interest around that category

So 100% allows wrong warps. And actually that is how he got to the final boss. He did the airwalk off the side in Lapis? to get to ligar in the glitch world. He had to replay that area twice lol.

yeah my bad I noticed this after. So WW are allowed, I guess I'll work on a route that goes through glitched worlds 'cause surely there's a way to save time with those

Yup just don't forget to grab the item after beating the bosses haha. That is the only annoying thing with like Lapis, you "could" go from the boss, airwalk, final boss. But you miss their item.

You can certainly optimize the route I used, which is just an adaptation of Shining Dragoon and Josh Keys. Daddio has an interesting route as well with a HUGE airwalk. There was a WR run that was removed that just used the No Wrong Warp route and grabbed the potion in the Sky Castle, but that would require getting incredibly good at No Wrong Warp to pull it off.

hey so I had a random good idea at 3 in the morning that kept me awake so I'm here to share a new route. This is an optimized version of ProfessorRetro's route. The TAS was all recorded RTA, I only used rewinds when I got hit for no reason or failed the airwalks, which is why it's not optimized at all. Even with the many mistakes I've done, this ends up saving a whole minute after obtaining the pulley over Prof's PB, which could lead to a time of around 21:3x. Yes, the Lapis airwalk is hard but it doesn't need to be perfect to save time, you can even fall once or twice and still be ahead. I might give it a shot someday I don't know
