Does anyone know why the GSI in category extensions, instead of the base category? I asked on discord, and one of the mods responded "and this is just my opinion not reflective of others but i think main board is just for categories that fight the final boss. although GP/GP100 was on main board in BotW so I understand there's precedent", and then "you can ask in leader board discussion someone can probably give you a better answer"
the main reason is that, unlike the Great Plateau, we treated GSI as like a big IL and was a way to implement intro skip. Which at the time wasnt something that we wanted on the main leaderboard
