Recently a couple of buddies of mine decided to do a Junkertown Bike destruction speedrun and posted our results on reddit. We got about 160 upvoted at the time of my posting this and I would like to see if I could get this as a viable speedrun for overwatch on this website. In short, the speedrun consists of destroying the Bike in the Junkertown attack spawn as soon as possible after spawning in the beginning of the game. As different subcategories we could have the different amounts of people that are participating. If anyone has any help for me to get closer to this goal, please let me know. I'd like to see what the rest of the community thinks.

pretty good idea, everything Overwatch based isn't really changing much at the moment so not many categories have been added in a long time but I imagine this will change once Overwatch 2 comes out. I personally just want some more subcategories in certain current categories. like a duo version of the A-Z speed run in the practice range or a 4 man all maps co-op category. and 50 kills no setting manipulation duos... there are lots of possible runs that could be put in and yours's is a great idea, it is something which we have all done while waiting in the spawn room and interests a lot of players.

Yea there's a handful of categories that are just kinda there. The junkertown bike one seems ok. Very meme-y haha. I thought about it some months ago but never really brought it up. If it were added, it'd be put here: https://www.speedrun.com/overwatch_category_extensions

To add new categories, show us a run of it, along with some possible rules and we'll consider them!

Hey, how things are going? Have you managed to do something? I am quite upset that I have found out about this so late, however, I am curious to know what happened next. I am obsessed with bikes and everything related to it, so I pay attention to every detail when it comes to bikes.
