I have been thinking of 2 categories to spice things up a bit:
- 8 Red Coins + 60 Coins. Collect both stars and finish by collecting the red coin star (an external timer must be used).
- 87 Coins - basically all coins in the level. Could be finished in 2 ways: a> collect the red coin star, b> end timing on the frame the last coin is touched.
Hope you like my idea. I'm aware that these categories might be as - or even more - unpopular as the 8 red coin or 60 coin categories, but I think it's at least worth a try.
I'm going to keep the srcom page the way it is since the hack doesn't have nearly as much interest anymore when it comes to speedrunning it. New categories probably wouldn't have any competition at all. However, I'll add the two categories to the spreadsheet if any runs of those categories are finished, and if they gain more popularity (probably 4 or more runners since the categories are miscellaneous compared to what romhack single star leaderboards normally have.)
