I've Tried running Sieg but for some reason i just cant get things to come together and kept kinda trying at one point but totally failed. I Could give it a try again but playing with Sieg is just so annoying with how little effect everything he does seems to have in the game. Though I am probably just still bad at it and feel like that but that is how I felt every time I tried to do this :D

Yeah. I've been hunting out those bosses on Arcia pretty much since I think of her as the easier of the two. Some bosses are still a nightmare how they work (like the stupid shield knight oh god that guy just never seems to make any sense). But most stuff just need the bullets to be used well. Deathtome also at one point I noticed the "hit the weak points of summon things" so that kinda speeded up the runs a bit xD But yeah. Also learning how to endure the whole run while hitting the shoot button like crazy helps. One time, my arm was like sore for a week after doing 3 arcia runs in 2 days. Its hard to keep shooting constantly. And the part about me being in your face with strats would still go better if I wouldn't get hammered by the Bosses. Plus abusing the "when bosses start attack and take huge dmg" also helps.

Will just probably have to try sieg again and try to get things to work with the experiences. Will take time though and probably wont have it right now since trying to lessen my backlog of games :D

Hey, Deathtome! Seems I managed to fix PC version crashes thanks to your .exe left in resources (you said about it on today's stream ;) ). It also fixed those transparent enemies (they were completely invisible before so I had to fight them looking at minimap or using that lighting aim thing lmao), sad I wasn't able to find similar fix in the net before. Maybe now if I'll manage to get good run, I'll upload one someday. Thank you again!

Yeah, thank you, I've seen your guides and some parts of that video of yours above and it's fun to see that I was using almost the same strategies for this game although I never tried to speedrun it yet. Some tips are very useful anyways!

But it is sad to admit that there is one critical issue with PC version and runs' categories should be distinguished due to it for sure. This is also the reason why my strats are somewhat different from yours and why I'm using blasphemy legion a lot sometimes. The problem is that "multiattack bug" which I'm sure you've also noticed while making speedrun tutorial. I was about to ask you whether you have understood the patterns to cause this bug or not because it should be something really important for speedruns, e.g. you can kill stage 7 and 10 boss with single blasphemy assist attack once his armor gone if you're lucky enough. But then I realized that there is no such problem on PS2 version, at least I haven't noticed it watching your runs. It's not even an issue of modern systems or smth like this because I remember the same thing happened a lot when I was playing PC version back in my childhood and this is how I killed Delacroix - trying to get this op damage in counter attack when he's charging for round attack.

I'm not sure when I will be able to do some runs but I think you just should be aware that if me or someone else would decide to upload a PC run then maybe we should separate categories in future.

But there is actually another issue I've discovered! Maybe not that critical due to it's rarity, but it actually may be even more important. I haven't still realized how I did this but somehow with multiple alt+tabs to my browser, switching music on, etc. I kinda "broke" the game's speed and it started to run in like x1.5 speed (like turbo mode in dmc3 but even faster). This thing happened twice to me occasionally. And this issue I believe may be caused by hardware/system and other stuff. This may be real pain if speed of PC running game may vary due to many unknown circumstances. The only adequate solution I'm thinking about - is to change rules of time measurement at least for PC version. E.g. there is IGT after each stage which can be summarized. Of course, all other time won't be included (time spent in intermission menu and so on. Even in-game pause time is not counted as stage time, if I remember correctly) but I see no other solutions for now, maybe you have some ideas.

Guess I've said a lot but these are just my thoughts on potential future runs. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to get a good run to upload or if someone else would appear to create at least some competition for PC version :D

Hi, im trying to practice the PC category, but once ive downloaded the exe, my game still seems to crash while trying to play in compatibility mode (the graphical stuff got fixed though) is there anything else i can do to try fix the crashing? i cant seem to get past stage 3 without a crash :/

I know you sent me a DM deathtome, but my account isnt old enough to reply yet, so i'll reply here. Ive downloaded your file and tried it out, and it still crashes after a level or 2. I've tried everything i can think of to fix it, but one weird issue is that i cant run it in on windows 98/me compatibility mode like you suggest, do you happen to know why? i also cant use a ps2 controller yet because i need to get a usb adapter for mine

EDIT: i managed to fix the crashing issue, it was due to the game using all four of my cpu cores and having them conflict. for anyone that has the same issue, go into task manager with the game open, right click it and choose "go to details". Then right click the game and select "set affinity". Then select CPU 0 (which is what i use) and it fixes the problem
