Yeah I spose they last about the same time, but I think there might be a few exceptions or exploits so lets not do it that way imo.
Hmmm really? It's one rider eliminated every [x] seconds, I'm not sure how that could be exploited, no time is even given for them.
If you totally disagree that's fine by me, they just don't add any time to add up for the run. :)
I understand but some theres a sorts of races where its a fixed amount of time, such as the stunt races where you need a specific score to pass (usually one minute) but I wouldn't mind it actually if we bypass each race in which theres a fixed amount of time.
I'll add it to the rules ASAP. Sorry, I don't know why I didn't get notifications for these.
I always intended to give this game A little more love, the bad times I put up were just to have something in the category.
Added "Elimination races can be skipped/not added to the time since they always last the same time." To the rules in each category. I also removed the "get all Stars" category as it seems abitrary.
I've checked and it turns out that Freestyle timing is not as consistant as Elimination; timing can't end if you're in mid-air (to let you finish your last trick), so it can be a little over 1 minute.
This is visible in my Regional Champs PB: Sun & Surf (4:55) is exactly 1m from 'frame the checkered flag appears' to 'frame UI disappears' whereas Time to Shine (8:16) is 1m 2s (and 3 frames).
It could be argued that there is some skill in this, getting 3 stars and stopping in the water is harder than getting enough points in the last jump, not that it matters now that the star requirement has been removed; you can just sit still for the whole minute.
Even if stars get put back in, Freestyle is a 10m auto-scroller in All Series, and timing would require going frame by frame through the video as there is no in-game timer; not worth putting back in even with these small time differences.
