I'm not sure if this was posted somewhere but how do i go about countering the noir insta kill bug on 1337 difficulty? Is there a mod or a specific version i have to download?
yea after lucas leaves i exit the closet and check both the balcony and the window for noir, then i sit down at the computer and get insta killed by noir
i was under the impression that it was a common bug with 1337 mode as i heard insym talk about it
It's not so much "common" there is a roughly 5% chance of it happening but it is a bug for sure. There is a .dll file you can replace that has a fix for it. I couldn't say where exactly it is sourced from though sadly.
The .dll that fixed this was taken down by me after the drama with adam happened. I have lost the file, but I might recreate it as I have some code from it backed up
Oh that's unfortunate, not surprised as it's adam tho. Would love to see the fix be back up as it would help a lot, with some hacks on 1337 being impossible as well it makes it really unfair.
I found an older version of the fix, I'll update it and reupload it as a resource. The patch also blurs evidence locker more heavily and fixes the nudity filter on one of Bug friendly's subpages so it makes the game twitch friendly again
