Here's my version of the first chapter. It's on Worms 4 Mayhem and not Ultimate, but I think there isn't too much difference (if there's any). EDIT: It appears that walking speed is faster on 4:Mayhem. I'd have to examinate if it impacts the routing...

Some of these times have been beaten (lv3, lv4)

Throughout all the levels the following techniques are used:

  • skipping cutscenes by pressing jump
  • skipping enemy warmup time by pressing direction keys or camera keys
  • skipping landing crates animation (closing the parachute) by pressing fire
  • opening the inventory during a long jump to keep on moving
  • placing the cursor on the correct case in the inventory, even when the item isn't needed at the moment, or isn't in the inventory yet
  • opening the parachute while in freefall
  • standing on an enemy's head to limit his range of action, or force friendly fire

Remarks: Lv05 is consistent until there's only 2 enemies left. Then the AI can become stupid and there's need to improvise... Also picking up the holy grenade crates helps to avoid the enemy moving around to get them

Expected scenario:

LV1 (A:2,B:1)=3 t=90

wA1: shotgun: shoot first dynamite in sight, move, shoot another wB?: (2nd floor worm) : does whatever wA2: switch to wA1, shotgun: shoot first dynamite in sight, move, shoot another done 0:48 RandomGuy's time 0:53

idea: destroy last barrel from below

wA1: take only one saw, then build girder to join farther bridge and take another 2 saw (turns automatically ends here) wB1: (highest worm) does whatever wA2: switch to wA1, take parachute, jump with parachute for another saw, once again parachute for another saw, then girder for highest saw, and once again parachute for the last 2 saws done 1:36 RandomGuy's time 1:31

idea: only keep one saw down there and then freefall instead of parachute

wA1: take both crate, destroy barrels on the boat wA1: then the barrel just by wA1: take new crate and blow the last barrels; hide behind a wall during retreat wB1: does whatever, hopefully passes his turn wA1: air raid, should kill both enemies (beware of the wind) done 1:53 can be better RavenousSky's time 1:45 !!

wA1: just move fast

idea: use sheep to pick up the crate. It works, got 0:23

done 0:27 RavenousSky's time 0:19 with sheep explodes and propels you upwards strat, but it's really hazardous

======================== LV5 (A:6,B:4)=10 t:90

the priority is to kill all enemies. When they're gone it's not too long to destroy the remaining barrels.

wA1: move to the landing spot of future crate containing holy grenade, then air raid to kill Dunst and Dennis, and blow up three barrels at once wB? (chesh): consistently moves around and throws a fragnade wA2: jetpack to move faster, dynamite to kill Dimond and blow up a barrel, then retreat towards Aston wB?+1 (aston): does whatever, hopefully stays still or passes his turn wA3: jetpack to move faster, holy grenade to kill Hood and blow up a barrel, retreat? wB? (chesh): ? wA4: ? kill another worm using fireworks (faster), or holy grenade or dynamite, take supersheep crate wB?: ? wA1: kill last enemy worm wA2: supership on last barrel done 4:07 can be better

RandomGuy's time 4:31

ideas: AI manipulation, use jetpacks to reach the last barrel, change kill order, when to take supersheep crate?, destroy the last barrel with something faster (sniper, grenade, bazooka?, fireworks if not used) pick up and use banana instead of dynamite, lauch it from afar instead of coming closer to the target.
