I'm actually having a similar problem. I am using 1.1.5 and when I set everything and click settings after activating it shows nothing. just the script path, any idea what could be wrong?

I remember Legacy mentioned something like this to me about the different keyboard maybe being better for the glitch. I def plan to look more into this and other settings that might help pull it off better and more often. Honestly love seeing more people give knife a chance in this game. It's definitely one of the best

Hi peeps and good day! For a bit now throughout the Discord Knife only section I noticed quite a few people were asking for karambit only or karambit as main knife. The problem this game seems to have is the fact you have to spam M1 so much on certain fights that most people can pull off a run or 2 and they feel pain in their hands right after sometimes for longer than a couple hours and this brings some concern. As it is now it looks like many people might choose not to run this category with the standard knife (butterknife%) and usually the case is to go based off of what everyone thinks atleast for those who run the category. So with this I'd like to see what everyone thinks overall including those who said they were interested in knife only in general to share their thoughts.

NG Karambit would start with the standard knife at the beginning of the game and pick up the karambit from the Duke before the castle, I've done the standard knife until that point multiple times and even on VoS it's not bad at all. A few of us out here who knife also want a way to perform runs above Casual and karambit would be the most solid way I would think.

yeah if you set the category it doesn't actually set anything. ._. been going on with a few games on my end

No matter how you put it, It's low% (you use a pistol) we treat the Hot Dogger like the normal knife. YOU ARE USING A KNIFE. All of this was agreed upon after talking with new and old runners coming back for some knife action. You sit there to complain over a stupid title, We ain't here to confuse people on what the category is so you can either run it or don't run it. Complaining about the title is legit sad and there's no reason for this to even go on any longer.

Not to sound like a huge bug but was curious if Low% will support 60/120 board split. Mainly ask because a few people i know can't do 120 PC and the difference between 60/120 is HUGE with the knife. Thanks in advance for any answer given i definitely appreciate it!

Appreciate the review on this situation first and foremost and also appreciate the mods for discussing this. I agree Stairskating with the gun while not shooting any ammo (including not shooting the croc) is great. Using a grenade for the croc is definitely not a problem in my opinion. <3

the point i'm more trying to get at is why does having a gun out make a difference when it isn't being shot lol. Sure there's other ways to "skate" but if the gun wasn't shot and it's just part of someones movement why would that be some type of problem. Ontop of the fact that you can't even shoot the gun for the croc part but you can toss a grenade <- that's pretty silly. It is low% not defenseitem%

why would having a gun in my hand or in my inventory cause a rejection within the run? i'm more curious on why it would be banned if clearly no shots were fired from said gun.

capture the game as a window capture not a game capture. I had this same problem earlier lol

yeah i mean it seems if you keep bating his attack up close he doesn't do the one shot. I managed to get through the fight with knife by hitting until phase 2 and just bating hits till the RL

^ kniferun here got the right idea. save a damaged knife for the ivy if you don't think you can handle timing the knife swipe on the ivy. In terms of other items like grenades that's just a flat no go lol. The knife category would be listed as low% anyways and just like most other low% games if theres a part where you HAVE to use something specific then by all means do so. I.E croc in this over RE2 original is a chase not a fight so i say it's fair game to use a bullet from a gun on the pipeline because you have no other choice which is also the same for Mr X. fight him with the knife and use the rocket launcher when it's time (similar to RE2 original B scenario where you'd have to use it the same way) besides that everything else should be knife including that shitty doorway with all the zombies afterwards LOL

Yes i feel the category should be destructible knives only on standard. infinite knife should definitely be for Hardcore because yeah... that would be the only way to knife it LOL. Been testing routes with destructible knives and it's pretty freakin awesome.
