does fps impact your gameplay or does it make it earier to get better at the game because my pc doesnt have a gpu/graphics card because im not rich and im broke and use a pc thats is 14 years old i normaly use low res to help but doesnt make a big dif
Having a higher FPS means that a more precince time can be calculated. Since 60 FPS runs can be timed in 017ms intervals. Whereas a 10 FPS run can only be timed in 100ms intervals. (boh assuming the FPS is consistent throughout the run).
So, a higher FPS makes the timing more accurate.
The rules of this game have video quality requirements.
That at least, your video must be at 24 FPS and 360p, and that there's no excessive stuttering or frame drops, and that the run must be seen clearly.
And as for if FPS makes the game easier to play: then I am not sure. Since I'm not an expert at this game lol. But I'd imagine a higher FPS increases your reaction time.
Who even are you do you just go around answering random threads
@clappv, I am @YUMmy_Bacon5 . Who are you to tell me I can't answer threads...?
I could be a new community member - how very welcoming of you to new runners.
And if, for some reason, I am not allowed to post in threads, then please be useful and help by answering @jaselt5544's question? Or if I've said something wrong, then please correct me - I won't be annoyed.
Anyway, since you are the expert, does having a lower FPS make this game harder to play?

To actually answer this guy's question: FPS is not needed for timing since the game shows you your final time at the end of the run. Having the game run with higher fps makes it easier to play the game (even an improvement going from 60fps/hz to 144fps/hz) but if your video quality or fps is so low it doesn't meet video requirements or if you get massive frame drops your runs can't be verified.
This is a follow up to the previous news post, see
It has now been decided by the mod team that mobile runs should not be allowed on the individual level leaderboard due to their inaccuracy in timing. All mobile runs will be removed and no more will be ac
