GBA Consolizer allowed for runs?

Just curious if a recorded run from a GBA consolizer would be allowed for runs of this game.

By default it runs at 60 Hz instead of native 59.7275 Hz. This can be toggled with the latest firmware but it doesn't often play nice with capture devices.

So... if you're me and aren't able to record at the native framerate and are stuck with 60 Hz, are these runs legal? Is it feasible to convert the time to its equivalent on a real GBA?

i.e. recorded time (seconds)/1 *x/0.995458 = adjusted time (seconds) [0.995458 is from 59.7275 Hz/ 60 Hz]

I don't think anybody has ever looked at the GBA Consolizer for this game. If you were to upload a video of a run at 60Hz I think that would help us at least look at it a little bit. Just from the website it does not appear as though it would modify how the game runs, but without at least seeing a video of it we can't be sure.

Cool. I'm no pro, but I'll do a run of either Zero Mission or Fusion and submit it. Happy to answer any questions or give details on anything that comes up. Thanks for the reply! 😁

Apologies for the bump, but got some updates.

I was able to install the latest firmware. It's kind of awkward, you have to flash the FPGA that controls display output and it's a whole mess of a process... but it works. The release notes can be found here: https://www.retrorgb.com/gba-consolizer-major-firmware-update.html

I misunderstood what DVI+ mode was for, it's for passing the audio through the HDMI port, which isn't compatible with all TVs. So if your TV isn't compatible, you have to record analog audio from the console.

On the latest firmware, it runs at native refresh rate, but you CAN toggle to 60 Hz if desired.

There's also an option to display button inputs on the left-hand side of the screen. If running at native refresh rate, the button inputs are white, but if running at 60 Hz, the button inputs are green. Aaand... no issues capturing it, to my surprise.

Uploaded a video showing the options:
