if their a free screen recording software for the xbox360 without long term xbox live that i can use?

If its a small run, the xbox can record your last 5 min of gameplay i believe, but if its a long run, you could stream it on twitch pretty easily and then download your vod and add a timer or whatever you want to do

Xbox360 not an XboxOne, so it can do none of that. Options are pretty much capture card or pointing a camera at the screen, which can be a passable temporary solution.
