Hi. Dead or alive 5, and other newer versions are seems significantly different, and must to make this page for just dead or alive 5. Since in newer versions the difficulty seems less harder a lot. Thus, in newer versions of dead or alive 5 the normal mode are just like rookie mode. While in initial version of dead or alive 5 the normal mode quite difficult and tougher a lot. And additional new stages and characters which is got newer versions of dead or alive 5, and it is all add another strats, damage and stuff, and thus gameplay differ more by different stages and versions. Thus must to make this page just for dead or alive 5, without newer version. And a background image are not from dead or alive 5 too, but from dead or alive 5 infinite which is phones version, which is very different from dead or alive 5 version which is being shown on this page, and which is very different from whatever else dead or alive 5 versions. All in all i consider to run dead or alive 5 more, and i'd been glad to be moderator myself of it. Thank you.
This page is just for dead or alive 5 already. DOA5+ is a direct port for the vita and plays exactly the same. We have a different leaderboard for LR (the version with major differences) which can be found here: https://www.speedrun.com/doa5lr
BG Images are always chosen for aesthetic in an attempt to make every lb have its own feel and be more unique.
As for moderation, I'm sorry but we are not accepting more moderators right now since there is no major need for them. Whenever we look for new mods there is usually an announcement on forums/the community discord.

About dead or alive 5 plus version you are correct. I now got it and i glad about it.
About moderators, as far as runs being approved in not very big amount of time i glad, thus the way stuff now is okay too really.
And i understand your point about aesthetic. Thus by such notion even art image is okay. But just not an image of the other game title like. Because it is just show another game title which is obviously being misleading and it is certain title official mistake like. It is like try to bring the game DOA 5 title, big banner, and images from it into DOA 6 leaderboard. It is just to make crucial difference about what the leaderboard meant to show (which is certain game and exactly a certain titled part of it). Thus by adding image and title of a certain game like, into another game like, of another title, and thus the crucial difference of separating game by titles and parts in leaderboard being not fulfilled completely like. And it is bring unclairty, and conflicting info into leaderboard about exact title and part of the game like, and the difference between titles and parts are crucial for any leaderboard. While a whole overall dead or alive logo like and title are okay and true, but just certain part which is says infinite are misleading. And such title infinite mean not a whole dead or alive series, but exactly the part titled: dead or alive 5 infinite, which was on phones like. Thus if peoples to crop at least title which says infinite, thus it is to look okay like by aesthetic notion. And it is to fulfill the crucial meaning of a leaderboard which is to separate games like into certain titles and parts like.

I actually do like your current image. Thus can just crop out the title which is says infinite, and it is look good like. But then again like does DOA 5 got the pink haired character? And for me it is looked like not. And then i did research and it really is turns out like DOA 5 ain't got pink haired character. But in the end the pink haired character are belong to the whole DOA series. And it is seems okay to bring such character on the background image since it is got most of other characters shown correctly thus it is relevant for the DOA 5, and it is just an art alike BG image of the game like. Thus my opinion just to cut out the letters title which is says infinite like. But you sure can put whatever else image like.
You see, the image and title on it, really is misleading a lot. While a game part and title correctly shown is crucial for any leaderboard. And i sure the speedrun site staff peoples, and just everyone with common sense, to approve, and to enforce stuff about all leaderboards being very distinct and true, by showing the exact game part and title correctly. Without showing wrong and misleading information like about other games, parts and titles like.
Thus you really is better to crop it. And me cropping the image make no sense since i can not update it on the site like. You be able to crop it by yourself and to publish it all fast enough really. You can do it!!

As explained in my first post, the title of this lb is literally the title of the game and its port. The bg is there for the lbs to look good, there is nothing misleading about it.
