I know this may sound dumb, but if you die there is a small delay and then you instantly spawn slightly ahead , so surely if you found the perfect spot you could get way ahead and use with boost and it could be found the be beneficial

For all I can say, it loses a lot of speed you're gaining from just driving in general. Even if respawning does put you slightly ahead, you would still need to accelerate back to the same speed you had previously to catch up with time or to put yourself ahead with it. In my opinion, and I would think others would agree, it would only really be viable if respawning gave you a massive shortcut or if you can keep all of your speed after you respawn.

I don't think so, its different to TrackMania in the sense that checkpoint order is forced as well, no real reason to intentionally respawn, but feel free to experiment

It might help, but only in very rare cases. For example, if you need to slow down or if your speed still drops.

I think while dying and using a boost right after could be faster in the short term on some maps, it may be more beneficial to save the boost to use at a later point. However, this could maybe be a lap 3 strat where you don't have time to save a boost for later, so dying and using a boost might be faster in that case.
