I have been trying to beat this game and I have been in the last level 10-15 times. I am planning to submit the run if I beat the game eventually. I am using a pal cart. Is that accepted or does it have to be ntsc?
I'm not a mod, but if that the case I feel we might need to create a PAL category cause the game doesn't run at the same speed as the NTSC version?
I picked this one up as my first speedproject, as i like to think i was pretty good at this some 25y ago. Could take a while since i have to setup recording; no exp with that.
Anyhow, I'm also on PAL. Two players should be enough for a category ;)
Unless there's a difference in gameplay for PAL versions, categories are not generally made for them - that's a timeloss runners just have to deal with. Then there's games like Blaster Master where PAL is the fastest possible version due to a region specific glitch, which forces a new category.
