There's an official brazilian version of this game made by Tec Toy, it's called Turma da Monica em: O Resgate.

Is the same game, just some sprites changes for Monica's Gang characters. I want to know if this version is accepted for speedruns here.

I asked @berlindude1 about this once and since it is strictly a sprite change, he said it was OK. This is also valid for the first game.

As long as the sprites are just changed and the fights are the same the version is acceptable. But I have to see a run first to actually really say if the brazilian version has differences.

I was mentioning Wonder Boy in Monster Land in my stream what I saw and it was no difference of gameplay. So feel free to speerun it and I will check the game if it has differences.
