(maybe the question as yet be asked) Why not remove the intro of the game and just begin the timer of the runs as soon as the last text of the intro is skipped?
probably because thats not "the start of the game" tecnicaly but yeah, that should save a lot lol
I mean, ~35 seconds is a long time, but that's just an unavoidable thing. Think about it like SM64, it's incredibly optimized, but they don't need to change timing because it's been the same always.
