just don't run DA2 or are you willing to start a category without the dlc items?

I'm mainly asking because I want to work towards running all Dragon age games back to back and then it wouldn't matter, but yeah, I assume you can understand I wish to practice every game individually.

it won't honestly change a ton of strats other than maybe wanting to pick up a better weapon somewhere, which me and pally had already discussed prior to his last run as something that would save time (specifically a staff sold in the gallows in act 3). TBH, most of the "good" equipment in the dlc packs isn't actually that good in the speedrun because most of it scales based on your level and is pretty bad at low levels (with the exception of the party member specific stuff).

you definitely should at least be able to get the all the promotional DLC items for free now just by logging into bioware's site with an account that has a registered copy of the game (see http://social.bioware.com/da2/dlc_bundle/ ) which includes some pretty decent stuff (especially the tomes that give you a bunch of exp).

as far as category stuff, since there's so few runs already i'd probably just prefer to add a variable onto the leaderboards that specifies whether or not the run uses DLC.
