MOD NOTE: You can disable Restart FX in the graphics options, it's going to remove the the animation whenever you start a room/restart the room. You can also quick restart right after you pick up your sword in the kissyface fight, which is going to skip the cutscene, and also you can generally use the quick restart in certain rooms to save some time, check the guides section on this site.
