Have you recorded and played San Andreas at the same time before? If not then maybe it's taking up too much memory? That's just a guess and it's probably wrong, but even still.

Verify the integrity of your files in steam for the game, or if that doesn't work, simply just delete all files uninstall and reinstall again, the GTA San Andreas folder/files will recreate themselves once you reinstalled the game.
