Greetings all FH1 Speedrunners! My name is Allan Endopay and I've been speedrunning FH1 ever since 2020, while playing the Horizon Franchise since it's release in 2012. I've been on and off when it comes to submitting runs but with a new Gaming PC currently being built, I figured it would be the best time to get back into Speedrunning. I would like to thank Alecoes1 and PokerFacowaty for allowing me to start moderating the FH1 Speedrun.com page, you both are legends!
With that being said, here's a few updates regarding the future of FH1 Speedruns:
Console vs Emulator Runs: Starting from today there will be a Sub-Category section for Any%/100%/IL Runs on the FH1 Speedrun.com page. The reason for this is to make this fair for speedrunners that only have FH1 on Console (Only allowed 30 FPS Max) compared to people that use a Xbox 360 Emulator on PC (Allowed 60+ FPS). This is ensured that console players can be competitive with other console players while Emulator players can be competitive with Emulator players.
When submitting a run on the Categorization tab, you can select either Console or Emulator in the Platform tab. (See photo for reference, "Platform" is covered but it's there!)
Upcoming Speedrunning Events: When my Gaming PC is finally up and running, I would like to start making Competitive Speedrunning events to bring FH1 Speedrunning into the spotlight! Competitions would entail different categories being ran (IL Runs/Showcase Event%/Others...) Most importantly of all, there WILL be a cash prize associated with this! There will be 2 winners; 1 for Console Players and 1 for Emulator Players. I will send out more newsletter's in due time to announce the first event so stay tuned!
Thank you all for being here and let's have some fun!

Feel free to ping me on discord if you need any runs verified. That would be the best way to contact me. @Alecoes1
I have added clarification on IL rules. Current runs which do not follow all rules will still stand but all new runs must follow the new rules:
-Runs are timed using the in-game timer.
-No rewinds allowed.
-No replays allowed. (To prevent rewinds from being used)
-Must show race name at before starting the race. (Makes verification easier)
-Must show the time on the results screen after the race. (Makes verification easier)
-Race time and and speedometer must be on in the HUD settings.
Any questions let me know!
