I am speedrunning with my mouse for everything except discard and play selected cards. I was wondering what is your way ?

I used to use mouse and touchscreen, but I recently got a new computer which unfortunately doesn't have touchscreen.

How did you hook a controller to a computer?

i just plugged my ps4 controller, steam did the rest.

I'll try with an xbox controller to see if it works the same way and post whether it works or not

xbox works too, and you can also use controllers to reroll the shop and to buy the leftmost card of packs quickly (good when you have telescope) but aside from that you gotta test what controls you're more comfortable with

Celestial packs are on the right - but I'll test this for speed tomorrow because that's when I can set up the controller.

Hey! this is old, but just as an FYI, the current meta allows for any method. The most common is mouse + keyboard. Controller only it pretty good, but make sure you have no stick drift. Controller + mouse is probably the most optimized that's been used in a run. However, runner Math is dabbling in use of touchscreen + controller/mouse, or just touchscreen, which seems to be the most optimal methods.

For seeded runs, touchscreen is pretty much unbeatable

I was able to get multiple sub-1:20 runs on the new seed I found while runners using other methods have runs around a 1:25
