They were removed because they were trivial, especially with the NKRO exploit which let you get these tiles in fractions of a second. I wouldnt mind a cat extension for them however a user had a particularly laggy computer, that when coupled with NKRO lagged the timer in some way and caused it to think that he achieved impossible times, and as lag varies from computer to computer the categories were removed. I myself had a similar issue actually, where I would get 3 or 4 tiles which the game said I got at the exact same instant, however the footage shows that the start of each of these runs corresponded to a lag spike.
Thats the one thing which has stopped me from doing things like this in the past, which is why I think it should generally stay on unofficial leaderboards. A better idea might be a "minimum" jumps category, however the times are sorted by amount of jumps (lower=higher up) and in the case of ties, then it is decided by time. This makes more sense to me, what do you guys think?
to skip the start of each level in html5 you can just hit r and it will teleport you forward =)
you get a world record i guess. then you become the most epic gamer of all time.
It nearly worked out for korbanoes today, he had a run with it die to 1/3 at 14 min with 209 block stronghold
I imagine any 1.16 ssg seed would definitely be a 12 eye, i see no reason for it to be anything less unless somehow theres a perfect combination of fortress+pearl but like thats losing time to an optimal 12 eye anyways so... yeah id say 12 eye is the way to go
Answering your question more thoroughly, The fastest times were 0.054 then a few in the 0.2s. But then someone experienced large amounts of lag and getting impossibly fast times in demonstration (did not submit those runs out of respect iirc) throwing the timing of the small categories into question, and i assume for reasons like this that it was removed.
it used to be a category, but was removed along with all small tile categories.
huh okay, i just thought that the world continued generating strongholds indefinitetly since it appeared that the stronghold density was the same out at 30 million blocks as it is at 5 million or 0. ill have to investigate further.
if that is true then that sure is interesting since mojang previously in java fixed a glitch where 12 eyes didnt activate.
in bedrock each world generates an "infinite" amount of strongholds so i would say the chances of there being a 12 eye are very high but the closest one being a 12 eye? chances of that are very low.
yeah we had it as infinite but had to remove it for a little bit
the requirements listed seem fine , but if you are to truly lose, i feel like you should lose in 3 on 3 contest basketball, that way you actually lose the game rather than get 0 points.
The timing currently ends when the cutscene triggers. However, it seems very dependent on the computer you use or even completely random as to how long it will take from when the character stops moving to when the cutscene triggers. Sometimes it is instant, other times it takes an entire second.
