i think an any% 1.2 should at least be considdered

I see players doing a spinning ground pound as soon as they gain control of mario (eg. after a cutscene) and have noticed that it makes your rolls after the ground pound faster. I know you can spin the joystick so mario runs around until he spins but I would love to know how to do this like top players do.
