Just decided to look at bf speedruns again and WTF. HOW DID YOU GET THIS DOWN TO SUB 4? what changed in 4.4 to allow bigfoot on night 1???

its a glitch and much faster that reloading. as long as you leave one bullet as well, you skip the pullout animation which is really efficient for speedruns.

nvm I figured out a way to access 4.1

in the new yellowstone update, there was a minor change that really is going to mess with speedrunning and that is 2 minutes getting added to the day time. you cant access the previous versions nor will the developers add the ability in the future (confirmed on cyberlight discord). so like what do we do about this now?

Yesterday, a big DBD youtuber named "Dowsey", released a video where he attempted to get 1 million bp only using survivor, and finished it around 5h 22m 04s. Personally, I believe I can beat that easily. Granted, he counted loading time and didn't do it according to standard dbd speedrun rules, but I think he sparked an interest with me and possibly a bunch of other players to want to do this. maybe rules for survivor would be no items or offerings and with killer no offerings, but I think it would be quite entertaining to see a longer format to a dbd run than the typical 1 round runs we see now.
