I was thinking, since the reason emulators aren't allowed due to the unfair load times, how about a separation between 3DS and emulator like how Tomodachi Life does it? Emulator has it's own separate category and this way the game would be a lot more accessible to more people. Recording a 3DS with a phone for such a long period of time is impossible due to storage space limitations and not many people have a capture card. Emulators are a much more convenient option since storage space on most PCs is plentiful and OBS recordings don't take up much space anyway. I think allowing emulators as their own thing would breed a lot more life into the game. I look forward to an answer from the mods!

I fully agree with this, another example being super Mario 3d land as its a loved game that has a lot of runs on the emulator category. Hell even super paper Mario has one too.

shit I probably would probably get back into running the game if they allowed emulators and I even have a proper streaming set up.

Ive asked like 2years ago or smth in one of these posts if they are allowed, save to say, i want a separate emulator category as well. not sure if ill truly run it, but ill at least have the option too. I Was motivated back when i first asked.
