I was just hoping a mod could give some clarification to my question; is it allowed to set codes before playing a game? If so, shouldn't there be separate categories for set codes vs. random codes?

Additionally, it would be great if the other game modes were added as well. Cheers

Setting codes is allowed. I would be in favor of giving codes a separate category but as far as I know there's no way to know what current runs use codes or not so it might be hard to separate runs into the correct categories.

Other game modes will be added once there are actual runs of them done.

Code games go directly from the code entry to the deal. A non-code game will start from the game mode selection screen. The only run I see that doesn't show the game mode selection screen clearly shows a redeal, so it's random anyway. Should probably make a note in the rules though that the game mode selection or code entry screen need to be included in the video.
