When are za rule-breaking runs currently at za top of za All Sols & Seals leaderboard going to be removed? I've been waiting for zat to happen before starting up my own runs again but zhey're still up

I personally have no problems with them staying up, and I say this knowing full well that I would have WR if they were taken down. It's just not possible that blaze has saved over 6 minutes compared to my time off of having higher FPS alone, all of that timesave is due to just skill that he has and I do not. It is 100% possible for those runners to PB on 60 fps, and it is entirely possible for other people to beat their times on 60 fps as well. The big timesaves are strats that have been developed after my former WR, such as Fengs & Ji cutscene skips and new route. That accounts for around 3.5 minutes of timesave, and the remaining 2.5 can absolutely be attributed to just less errors in movement and pathing, better boss fights, etc. A deathless run can be far from perfect, especially as time goes on and new strats and optimizations are found. The current top 2 runs are also far from perfect, and can and will be improved, even on 60 fps. Blaze and Nebula very much earned their placements on the leaderboard, and I do not believe that their runs should be taken down. If you still disagree, you can treat my run as the WR and your placement on the leaderboard as relative to it. All that matters is that you're having fun running the game, and I very much hope you continue to do so, regardless of the circumstances.

The decision that was made when making the rule change was to allow runs submitted before the rule change to remain. Like sherplung pointed out, these runs are far from optimal and will be beat by 60 fps runs.

I mean there's the leaderboard split now

FPS Cap and Timing End changes (10th Nov 2024)

Regarding to the FPS rule, the leaderboard has been split to allow both capped and uncapped runs. Capped runs have been copied into Uncapped, and any old runs that either had no capped FPS or FPS display had been moved into Uncapped.

Capped FPS will require FPS display
