I know this is probably asked a lot, but I've looked at several articles, posts, and videos about how to properly setup speedrunning programs for splits/times and none of them have helped. Does anyone have any links to videos/articles in particular that have helped them that I could reference? If so it would be a big help!

What specifically are you having trouble with? If it's just picking what timer to use, LiveSplit is probably the best timer to use and it's what most people seem to use. It's also pretty straightforward to set it up. If you need help beyond that you'll need to be more specific about what exactly you're trying to do.

There’s also about a hundred (exaggeration) tutorials for Livesplit on YouTube. They can all be helpful as they’ll provide visual examples of where to go to set things up.
