A week ago i started doing this for fun and I actually got a run through, but I do not know how to time it properly. Is there anything I should know before submitting it? I played with that one mesen emulator that is allowed. I don't know if that info is necessary.
If you're using MesenRTA, you can use the Autosplitter function for timing it, the only thing is that the script splits everytime you end a level normally/start one after a warp zone, so you'll have to add the splits for each stage, if you wanna time it yourself, start the timer once the ingame timer starts in 1-1, and finish it once you touch the axe in 8-4 and it dissapears. Hope this helps.
You don't need that no. If you want to retime your runs yourself, somewes.com is a good website for that
I know what bilingual means 💀 but like lohoris say what does that have to do with anything
i know what happened, based on the name it was probably a friend of mine, sorry for the incident
sure, you just need to download the script for the autosplitter (https://github.com/miklaskarjalainen/SMBAutoSplitter/blob/master/SuperMarioBros.asl), then open LiveSplit, right click on the timer > Edit Layout > Plus sign > Control > Scriptable Auto Splitter > Double click on Scriptable Auto Splitter and click on "Browse..." and pick the Autosplitter, there's a few settings you can change but it sets up automatically, hope this helps
My laptop or my antivitus outright blocked live splits lmao. I'm unable to run the program. I guess that's not the worst
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
