Hello! So a new patch released for LKBC, 1.24.5.14, which has fixed several (but not all) of the clips found in the launch release of 1.24.5.8. Using this guide you will be able to play on 1.24.5.8.
You will need to already own the PC version, and I have only tested this to work through steam. It will not work if you do not already own the game or otherwise have it fully installed.
Open steam console (easiest way for me is to press Win + R and type steam://open/console)
Enter the following command:
download_depot 1177980 1177981 2181102320171643926
This will download the files for 1.24.5.8 to steamapps -> content -> app_id1177980 -> depot_1177981
If you want to downpatch to other versions, replace the manifest ID (2181102320171643926) with the version you want to downpatch to. You can find a list of manifests and when they were released here.
Lastly, you may need to run steam in offline mode to avoid updating it. Or you can just open the executable directly without using steam. If you want to update to latest version, verify the integrity of your game files.
