Gardeners?

Stop me if this is a thread already ... I did look back around 5 pages.

Does anyone here garden? I do pretty much everyday. It's probably the only thing I do as much as video games hee hee. I was watching a DK Oldies review video [I like watching hardware cleaning type stuff] and they were saying Joey was a gardener IRL like gardening is the worst hobby ever LOL.

So I was wondering do other gamers think gardening lame? Or are there gardeners here. I grow tons of stuff, mostly vegetables. Also, herbs like Oregano, Peppermint etc. And I also pick mushrooms and do tons of other garden/farming type stuff.

California, USA

That’s sounds fun

I hate sim type "farming" games, but I'd play a side scroller or adventure game etc. that was about gardens. I'm sure there are some.

@Lameshark go play Stardew valley. Best farming game out there. It's not just farming, but also an adventure game, sandbox, and a life-sim game. Best recommendation I can give you.

I love these recommendations! LOL Stardew Valley definitely looks like an Rpg sim ... but the pixel art looks top tier I'm going to check it out. Someone should make a game like Mario Sunshine, except you grow plants in real time or something.

@SkittlesCat83 yes, it can be quite addictive sometimes. I've grinded out my save file and gotten around 2 million gold in that save file, I'm married to Sebastian, beat the normal mines and skull mines (made it to lvl 100), gotten all bundles and maxed most of my friendships with the villagers. I just have a few achievements I need to finish and max out the rest of my friendships. There's always something that needs to be done in that game.

@Lameshark, definitely a good game, I've played around over 200 hours in it and I'm still not sick of it. As for the Mario Sunshine idea, I'm assuming you mean a game that relies on your in-real life time. I think that'd be pretty interesting to see. It'd be like the berries in Pokemon that grow after a while in real life. I think it'd burn me and most other people out pretty fast, though. Still, it'd be pretty interesting to see that implemented into a game.
