if i want to use a adapter that lets me run sega genesis games on the snes, can i?

if you need footage of it i recorded the 1st level of castlevania bloodlines. (ignore the mrbeast thumbnail i thought it would be funny at the time)

also i can record footage of a snes game to compare it to since both the snes and genesis have the same refresh rate.

also also the footage looks worse than what i actually see when playing. my capture card is trash.

if need be i can record it off my phone.

also sorry for the long title of the thread.

so i did some research and apparently they arent adapters but are just emulators that are powered by the snes.

still id like to use it if possible if only to be the 1st person to run a sega genesis game on a snes since it still needs it to function technically. the idea alone sounds fun to me.

Every game has its own rules for this sort of thing. I would expect there to be accuracy issues with something like this, but you'll have to talk to the people for the specific game(s) you plan on running.

i mean i cant tell the difference in frames or anything on my end from a actual emulator.

i did ask about it for castlevania bloodlines.

they didnt say no just that theyd need to see how it runs.

as you can see by my awful footage my capture card keeps skipping and is pretty bad in quality.

ill probably have to get a better one because on a actual monitor it runs as good as the switch and steam versions on the legacy collection.

im just gonna wait to post again until i get a better capture card
