Cool Who made the any% route? What happens if you go straight for the paladin without doing the inn? We should look 4 any possible way to get to the paladin without doing the understreets. Is the route in the best order.we should minimise walking distances. Do u have to get all your minions back before fighting the wizard? I'm also wondering if slow would help.maybe it changes hitboxes ect.
Mr.Brewballs u said about the bridge between golden hills pass and goldos stronghold.i understand that if u havent killed the paladin before the brewery u cant go into the brewery. one of my ideas is that using the glitch idea i spoke about before, avoiding the trigger zone for a quest. i wonder if u can duplicate minions with the forging glitch but with spawning pits? other ideas for anywhere: kicking minions into something using spells to affect something
this thread is specifically for the runners to communicate about finding skips/glitches because as of 11th December 2017 we have none :(
Thx brewballs I agree with everything your saying.i think if we found more skips more people would be interested in this speed game.I also think that the length of the speedrun might be affecting the popularity.If through optimisation and new skips we could get it somewhat shorter it might become a more appealing game to run.i am very interested in your testing and looking for skips.if u find anything plz tell me.
On a side note:if u find any mistakes in my overlord any% guide on speedrun.com talk to me and I will fix them . 40 minutes later: Ive found a glitch but i dont know if it can save time.In halfling homes 1 u can avoid the trigger to get the fix the wheel quest.just hug the walls and stay as far away from the wheel as possible. by doing this u can get the 2 spokes and fix the wheel without getting the quest.walk straight through the opened gate and you will get the quest. But while being in halfling homes 2 it will say 0/2 spokes collected.not sure if this is helpful but we may find a use for it.
If I get a response to my post I will talk about new catorgary ideas. e.g. Oberon% 100% raising hell% and more. :)
Is this a dead community? If it is can I save it? What do u think is the lowest this run could go is? My estimate:2:40-2:45. Is it worth getting level 2 minion spell,berserk. Is the route fully optimised. Depending on the answers of the first 2 questions I either will or won't try to optimise my current time (3:27:41) past WR (2:55:48) Thx for reading :)
