Check out Simply's movement guide on youtube along with a 16 star beginner's guide. Try practicing any of the things suggested and you'll start to understand the game more. Under the guides section of this game's page there is a 120 star guide by toast that details the beginner, intermediate and expert ways to do every single star. (He also has a playlist on his youtube for every single star using the different methods that have inputs.) If you're playing on emulator using save states and trying something over and over again at whichever point of the course is giving you the most trouble is a good way to learn it.

It's when all the world realizes that we are one.

Submitting any run for any game without proof seems like a joke to me.

You can use a gamecube controller with the Wii U adapter. There's no way to use motion controls with it.

It seems like Jumpyluff is pointing out the fact that the "no assist" versions of the categories have columns that will always be set to no. For instance, in no assist mode the "2p", "Amiibo" and Assist Mode" will always be set to no, no matter what. So it's redundant to have those columns there, it only makes sense for the assist mode version of categories.

Is a laptop fine to stream from? I assume the console is doing the heavy lifting and the computer is only responsible for capturing the footage or would a lower end computer not be enough to stream it when you can stream other games that are being played on said machine?

The reason having a route list is nice is so you can look at it while you're running so you don't have to hold all the information in your head. That's why.

Gamecube controller does not use motion controls.

It doesn't seem like there is a way to proof a screenshot is legit and the whole point is that it's proof so it doesn't make sense to use a screenshot in the first place imo.

I tried practicing it for a while after learning LBLJ but I couldn't get it even once. Maybe this will inspire me to try again. (I should be moving on to 70 star instead going for 0 but it seems so cool.)

You should submit it as a separate game.

Gothic mentioned how a WR for a time was a spliced run in another thread. If it's easy enough to have a spliced run seem real what makes you think someone wouldn't do it for a screenshot? It would be too easy to fake unless I'm missing something.

If someone finds some serious skips it could be broken out into glitchless any% and any%. The difficulty categories make more sense to me for now since it does change the game enough to make a time difference as far as I know.

Great explanation in 2nd post.

I came up with another category idea: Winning an ffa 8 player match.

The 2005 methods. Lol.

I find classic the most accessible to pick up. If you're intimidated by the all characters target test you could try going for times in the single character target test.
