Steam Downpatching
• (You may already have this) ASP.NET Core Runtime is required for this to work. Choose the correct installer for your OS (probably Windows 64-bit).
• Download the latest Steam DepotDownloader (Make sure to get the smaller framework zip file under Assets as it's the only download with the required .dll file inside) and extract it wherever you'd like (no installation).
• Shift + Right-Click anywhere within DepotDownloader's folder to open a PowerShell/CMD window via the context menu option. PowerShell/CMD will now use this directory when executing commands.
• Type a command like this, using IDs listed below to begin downloading your desired game version:
dotnet DepotDownloader.dll -app ###### -depot ###### -manifest ############ -username YourSteamUsernameHere -password YourSteamPasswordHere
→ Press Enter to execute the command. It may also request a 2FA code from your email to log in.

Any errors during download should automatically retry until it works (give it time)
• The console shows you the download progress & location. Files appear in the depots folder within DepotDownloader with the IDs you used.
• Copy&Paste or move those files to the game's original installation folder, overwriting everything; or do some fancy renaming tricks to keep both versions.
To find your game's installation directory, Right-Click it in Steam -> Manage -> Browse Local Files
• Play normally.
Maybe keep a copy of each installation in-case you need to do this again.
