Hi, I have never beaten this game, and I was wanting to learn how. Speedrunners know all the good ways to do just that, so I'm asking the speedrun community here. What are the steps needed to reach endgame? What do I need to do to get to the dragon?

Setup:

Make sure to get all the prac maps from the video.

Overworld: For your first time I recommend using a village and trading with a fisherman for a bucket this way you can use the food from the village and have plenty for them entire run. And using the iron from the golem for a pick axe and flint and steel. Then find a lava pool either on the surface on by doing a strat where u dig down on a water pool since lava pools are common underneath them. Also make sure to turn on subtitles so you can look for lava pops. You should play out any sub 8 nether enter for first completion. Once you start getting lower times I recommend learning ocean strats.

Basically first find a bastion to get 4 main things: string for beds, pearls, obsidian and fire res for fighting blazes. Then find a fortress kill blaze and if you have 20+ obsidian make a portal there if not go to blind coords by pressing f3 c in the nether and ninjabrain bot will tell you where to go for blind coords.

Either travel in the overworld if you didn’t have 20 obsidian or go back to nether if you do cause 8 blocks in the overworld is just one block in the nether so it’s faster.

This may seem a bit overwhelming at first and you don’t need to learn everything but I highly recommend doing so and practice a lot and I guarantee your first completion can be in under 30 minutes. Also if your computer can handle it I recommend setting up the wall to run more than one instance.

Thank you. That's closer to what I was looking for at the moment. I may speedrun this game at some point, but first I have to be able to consistently beat the game.

well, actually being able to consistently beat the game has nothing to do with speedrunning (my first completion of the game is a 45 mins speedrun)

To reach the Ender Dragon in Minecraft, you need to follow these steps:

1. Gather Resources: Collect necessary resources, including diamonds for crafting Ender Eyes.
2. End Portal: Use Ender Eyes to activate the End Portal located in Strongholds. Find Strongholds with End Portals or create them using Ender Pearls.

4. Activate the Portal: Place the End Portal Frames with Ender Eyes in them to activate the portal.
5. Enter the Portal: Step into the portal to enter the End dimension, where the Ender Dragon resides.
6. Prepare for Battle: Equip yourself with good armor, weapons, and supplies to prepare for the Ender Dragon fight.
7. Defeat the Ender Dragon: Locate and engage the Ender Dragon in battle, using strategies and tactics to defeat it.
8. Collect Dragon's Loot: After defeating the Ender Dragon, carefully collect the drops it leaves behind, which may include Dragon's Breath and the Dragon Egg.
9. Return to Overworld: Once the Ender Dragon is defeated, return to the Overworld through the End Portal.
